Georgia working on extension for Fox.

Georgia is showing its commitment to a winning program in basketball by looking to extend Fox's contract. While details are not out my guess is that it will add years, base salary and a bigger buyout for Fox were he to leave UGA. All of these things are great. In doing this McGarity is trying to show that Georgia is not a stepping stone job for basketball coaches but a destination job. A commitment from Fox to the program and the program to Fox should also help with recruiting as recruits will know Fox will be around for the player.
