Baylor/TCU finish
That was one of the more exciting finishes you will ever see in college football and if you are a Baylor fan you are living high tonight after pulling out the 50-48 win. Anyone who missed this game make sure to DVR the replay of it because I am sure it will be air again sometime very soon. It can be a lesson for coaches though. When your team is up big I understand and even agree that running out the clock is the smart thing to do. At the same time you have to make sure not to get away from what got you to the big lead. The minute TCU scored their first TD and two point conversion of the 4th quarter Baylor should have gotten right back into attack mode and finished the game off. They did after they fell behind but that was living on the edge. If you play not to lose instead of playing to win it will bite you more often that not. That is not to say that with two minutes left and the other team only having a time out or two you shouldn't run the ball. It just means be careful how early you take your foot off the pedal because when you are dealing with 18-22 year olds momentum is a hard thing to get back once the other team has snatched it from you.
